James Newton Howard is an acclaimed American composer, orchestrator, and conductor who has composed music for film, television, and other media. Among his most notable works is the music score for the 1993 film The Fugitive, directed by Andrew Davis and starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. The music score for The Fugitive is a unique and captivating blend of the orchestra with synthesizers that masterfully evokes a sense of loneliness and desperation while also contributing to the overall mood and atmosphere of the film.

Great score by J.N. Howard for Andrew Davis, highly descriptive and deeply linked with the movie.
Very interesting to see that some musical elements in this 1993 score (particularly in the very end of the « Fugitive Theme » in the Soprano Sax./Piano/Bass version) could be found in the 1999 score for « Sixth Sense » by Shyamalan (even the key is the same !).
Omni’s house-style is still beautiful, but there is a lot of mistakes and wrong notes in the engraving, even in places where there is not a large ensemble like the « Fugitive Theme » mentioned above (Piano : bars 2 & 45, both left hand). Nothing really important but I didn’t experienced that in other publications by Omni.
That said, thank you for giving us the opportunity to study this score !
