Poltergeist had always been one of those study scores I felt would make a fantastic Omni release. I don’t recall how, but I had acquired a set of PDF sketches and at some point, the scores. I submitted a request in November of 2019, but it must have slipped through the cracks because is wasn’t until February of 2021 that the request was approved! Good things come to those who wait. But this score is anything but good, it’s great. Because of the nature of the film I thought fall would be the perfect time for a release. So, while cleaning up the Sibelius files for Sneakers, I had a couple of guys get to work on note entry. A big thank you to Joel and Noah who not only had to engrave from the score, but also had to rely on the sketches for note accuracy. Arthur Morton’s hand is not always the best. And another big thanks to Dan Redfeld for proofing the whole thing.
